Helping You Move Towards What Is Meaningful In Your Life
Resiliency is an invaluable part of my personal story. I believe everyone is naturally equipped with beautiful and distinct strengths as well as resiliency. I find joy in helping you find yours. “The world gives you so much pain and here you are making gold out of it—there is nothing purer than that.” - Rupi Kaur
Brené Brown’s words speak to my therapeutic essence—guiding you through exploring your difficult circumstances and discovering the infinite power you possess when your light is able to shine through. I’m honored to be your therapist—I truly empathize with how much courage it takes to be vulnerable and share parts of yourself with others.
Whether you have experienced a traumatic event, are struggling with a specific aspect of your life, or unsure of what to do next, I am here to navigate it with you. Together, we will create a welcoming environment that allows you to share your needs and goals with me, which will guide our work together. You truly deserve a life well lived.
My Practice
My unconditional positive regard for others is unique. No matter what you bring into our therapy sessions, I am here to hold the space for you and provide a safe and caring environment as you share your story. I empower you to be authentic as I naturally have an authentic and open spirit. Offering a holistic mind-body-soul approach, I focus on helping you heal, energize, and become aware of your inner strengths. My social work lens helps me uniquely offer you balanced mental health care attuned to how your environment is affecting you, your individuality in this world, and what your soul desires.
I consider all aspects of your life, valuing all of the past experience that has brought you to this very point in time—just as you are.
My practice is relational, person-centered, and holistic in nature. I offer integrated therapy modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which can be particularly beneficial in helping you find clarity and self-understanding. I also provide resources that promote healing, help you build connections, and enhance their overall well-being.
Through my work experience in adoption, education (kindergarten - college), the medical and mental health sectors as well as engaging with you from birth through end of life, I have an expansive understanding of the human experience. These experiences provide a platform where I am at ease supporting young adults, emerging adults, and adults in their exploration of identity and values to create lives that are in alignment with their authentic selves. I love working with both men and women as they navigate this fruitful period of their lives.
My strength-based approach offers empowerment and positive guidance as I help you gain insight into relationships with themselves, others, and the world. I offer support as they find what is most meaningful to them as they navigate college choices, career paths, living arrangements, parenting, relationships, and passion in all of their endeavors.
As a professional who has worked in various fields, I understand the stressors that come up for many working professionals. I offer therapy for my fellow therapists as well as educational and medical professionals, encouraging therapy as a vital source of support and self-care for those who give so much in this world. I love giving back and passing it forward when it comes to working with professionals.
Hopeful, Authentic, Fresh, Optimistic, Aligned, Holistic Therapy
Being authentic and relatable is a vital component of my therapeutic style. Clients have told me that I have a vibrant personality, and I encourage using humor and joy as coping skills. I consider all aspects of life, honoring the past experiences that have molded you into the person you are today. I honor your story and your resilience. Healing and growth are achievable no matter what you've gone through.
Working from an optimistic lens brings joy and lightness to therapy, allowing you to feel comfortable and hopeful. Through gentle inner exploration and reflection, you can increase your self-awareness as well as self-compassion. Taking small courageous steps can lead to huge impacts and benefits. No matter what you bring to sessions, I will hold space, allowing you to share your stories as you feel ready.
Seeing people become more self-assured and confident in themselves as they grow and learn is a joy to witness. With a personal understanding of the positive impact therapy can have on one's life, I steer my clients toward what is meaningful to them.
My focus is to help you grow through your struggles, heal from pain, and create the life you desire. I support you in aligning your goals and actions to allow you to move toward your best self. This is achieved by customizing care based on your unique needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Not only do I hope you will heal, but I also hope you will thrive!
A Little More About Me
Growing up in Colorado, I love spending time in nature and the mountains. I’m outdoorsy through and through. I love to hike, kayak, paddleboard, fly fish, camp, and, most of all, ski. I am passionate about movement frequenting my favorite yoga studio and gym. I enjoy daily walks with my sweet GSP, Ethel Marie. On weekends, I love gardening and using homegrown foods to make delicious meals with friends and family.
